Two theodicies

In this picture, we wanted to illustrate the varying emotions people could feel during the current pandemic by comparing them to religious texts. On the right side, we compare the faithfulness of Job from the Book of Job to a woman meditating. This shows the more positive and hopeful outlook that people can hold during this time. On the left side, we depict the sufferer and his friend from the Babylonian Theodicy. The sufferer is hopeless and confused in his faith. This is compared to the image of the woman crying in her medical mask which shows the more negative emotions present in this time.
